Business Travel Requirements for an Philippines Visa for Swiss Citizens
Visa May Not Be Required
Visa exempt for a stay of up to 30 days. The traveller must:- Hold a valid passport on arrival with one blank visa page
- Hold proof of sufficient funds
- Hold proof of onward/return flights
- Hold all documents required for the next destination
- Confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa
Mandatory Digital Arrival Card Requirement
All travellers to Philippines are required to register on the eTravel platform at least 3 days prior to arrival. The registration can be completed here free of charge.
Please note that once registered, the traveller should download the generated QR code, which must be presented prior to boarding the flight.
Passport
The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:
- Be valid for six months beyond exit date
- Have at least two blank visa pages
Photograph
You must provide a photograph. Upload your photo and we will print it to the exact specifications required for this visa. Follow https://cibtvisas.ch/photo-service to upload your photo.
Alternatively, you may provide one colour, passport type photograph that meets the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against a white background and printed on high quality photo paper; be 35mm by 45mm in size; provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes. Your photograph should not be affixed to your application and may not display evidence of adhesive or staples.
Business Introduction Letter
You must provide an original Business Introduction Letter from the applicant's Swiss employer. Be certain your letter meets the specific requirements of the consulate by using our Digital Business Introduction Letter. Visit https://cibtvisas.ch/bcl-order to get started.

A copy of the flight confirmation showing onward/return travelVisa Application Form(s)
One fully completed application form. This form must:
- Be printed back to back on one sheet of paper
- Be signed
CIBTvisas Order Confirmation
For orders placed on the CIBTvisas website, a copy of the Online Order Confirmation which is sent to you via email, must be submitted.
For all other orders, and where applicable, a completed CIBTvisas Visa Order Form which can be found in the CIBTvisas Application Pack should be submitted.
Please note that all card payments will only be made upon completion of the visa application process.Former Filipino Nationals and Immediate Family
Former Filipino nationals can travel to the Philippines without a visa for a stay of up to one year. Their immediate family (spouse and children) also benefit from this visa waiver when travelling together.
Former Filipino nationals will be required to provide either a former Philippine passport or a copy of birth certificate on entry. Each accompanying family member will be required to carry documents showing proof of relationship:
- A copy of marriage certificate for the spouse
- A copy of birth certificate or adoption certificate for each child
